2021. The fourth album by Hofame is released, following a new direction and
with new additions to the band. The album’s nine tracks, written during the first
months of 2020, are the spontaneous answer to the restrictions imposed by the
national lockdown.
Hofame tells the stories of men and women, their everyday life.
"Non chiedere mai" [Never Ask], "Siamo figli liberi" [We Are Free Sons], "Vita
condivisa" [Shared Life].
A search for a shared life, for lost spaces; learning to give up what is unnecessary.
The album was produced and arranged with friend and musician Marco Giacomini. The idea was to create songs that were free even from the author’s control by
subverting their original structure.
Indie Pop-Rock, New Wave, Lo-Fi, Dream Ambient are its main ingredients.
The musicians in the album are: Cristiano Alberici (vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, keyboards), Marco Giacomini (electric guitar, bass guitar, synth,
vocals), Camilla Chioda (vocals), Giacomo Giunchedi (electric guitar), Michele
Napoli (drums) e Michele Arancio (clarinet).
The album is produced by Riff Records, Tafuzzy Records, La Barberia Records,
